PlayPro8's story began in late 2018, in a small office in Dhaka. Back then, online gaming in Bangladesh meant struggling through foreign sites in English. Most people couldn't properly follow what was happening due to the language barrier. Payments were a separate headache — depositing in BDT was next to impossible.
Seeing these problems firsthand, our founding team made a decision: Bangladesh needed a platform built by Bangladeshis, for Bangladeshis — everything in Bangla, payments through bKash and Nagad, and support in your own language.
The Early-Day Challenges
We started with a team of just 12 people. The first six months were genuinely tough — building the technology, locking down security, and above all, earning people's trust. But we didn't give up. Every complaint became an opportunity, every piece of feedback was put to use.
